Scenographic Fragments

2024

Scenographic fragments is a collection of models produced in reference to the spatial qualities explored in the film Anna Karenina (2012). The film’s unique assembly of mis en scène reveals the extension of space defying temporal and physical restraints which in turn adds to the storytelling.

Elements of mis en  scène and orchestrated interactions are sometimes absent; creating a possibility for what the space could be depending on the scene’s context. It also adds a new axis of dimension through vantage points that help reveal the story’s inner workings.
